Congratulations!!!

I'm so excited!

Just got the email announcing the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of the 2018 Creatin' Contest.

In Third Place

Belmont House by Kristine Hanna of Paper Doll Miniatures

(I knew it I knew it, didn't I tell you so?)  See the little first time entry stamp in the upper right hand corner of the picture?  Can you believe it?

In Second Place

Frankie's Garage by Sandy O'Grady

Another first time entry.  Awesome.

And in First Place

Quest Travel Agency by Sharon Elgin

Congrats to all the winners and if anyone has a blog let me know and I'll link up to it!

And congratulations again to Kristine! Knew you could do it!

    1. It totally does. I like all the aging on the garage too.

  2. Shelia your so quick! I got to sign up for this email newsletter :D

Thank you so much for all your support Shelia! It's been so hard not saying anything! I've been checking every day because I've been so curious about the other top entries and they don't disappoint. They have so many fabulous finishings and details. I cannot wait to see all the entries together but for now I can only imagine the judges must have struggled with a lot of amazing contenders. I just love the way the first place combined two kits!

Your going to knock them all dead this year :D

    1. LOL I pretty much get the email and then post right away because I know there are folks who don't get the updates from Miniatures.com

I honestly liked yours and the garage better than the one in first place, but I think that's mostly me just really enjoying the finishes and style of yours.

Here's hoping! I'm really impatient to get this kit.

    1. Maybe it's because it feels like a lot of the builds this year have tons of pictures of the outside and not a lot of the interior?

    2. I just think it doesn’t have a lot of anything done to the inside. A couple of desks, a filing cabinet, some people.... anyway, I never agree with these things, I am always out there on my own with my opinions! To be honest, there’s not a lot done to the outside either...

    3. I don't really get it either. I want to be overwhelmed with details and amazed at what was done and I'm not really. I'd say maybe the judges got to see more of it but if those are the only four pictures then I don't get it.

  5. All 3 are great :-). It must be awesome to be a member of the jury and see all those beautiful entries - but it must be hard to choose too!
