Mini's Are Taking Over!

Okay so maybe not completely, not everywhere.  I think you'll all still get a kick out of this.

In preparation for Thanksgiving Honey Baked Ham sends out tons of emails.

And today I got one with this awesome picture.

Which had me giggling over the pun.  And then fan-girling over the awesomeness that is the ad because hey, they're using miniatures!

So cool.

I don't really like ham but it looks pretty good doesn't it?

    1. LOL Hey I'm just excited that people are using minis. A lot of people in my area still think dollhouses are for little girls or little old ladies.

  3. That is too precious! What a fun holiday ad. Next time my husband groans because I'm doing minis instead of watching football with him, I'm telling him I'm just trying to Mini-Mize my stress!

    1. Yeah, my husband thinks he isn't groaning but when I constantly have 'come see this' he defeats the purpose of the whole exercise.

  4. I think that this ad will have LOTS of people stopping to take a second look because minis have a way of making even commonplace EVERYDAY items look MORE intriguing when they're scaled down to tiny!
Hope the store gets more traffic as well as Lots of positive feedback from this ad. :D

  5. I like the idea that they're using miniatures for an 1:1 ad, Sheila, great!
You're right with your comment: here, in my region, lots of people also think that dollhouses is just something for little girls, even not for adults... But I don't care: I LOVE making miniatures and dollhouses, and they're for all ages/sexes, isn't it :D!?

    1. I don't really care what people think either. The odd looks when I explain my hobby can be pretty funny actually.

  6. That ad is so great! I am so happy you shared it. And I love the slogan - Mini-mize your stress. Minis definitely do that for me. I bet there is a miniaturist working in their ad department!

    1. Bet this ad was cheaper than a full size set by a long shot too!
