I've even had them match a fabric sample, so you'll be in good hands.
What if you added a wash of pigment or something to make the siding pop with the navy? I don't have a lot of experience with this but I always see other miniaturists aging or adding dimension to their projects with a light wash of colour. Maybe it would darken along the siding ridges to create dimension?
Can't wait to see what you choose! :)Kristine PaperDollMiniatureshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04348940337267272223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7927995920080917290.post-44125703448180273212017-06-07T06:55:55.010-05:002017-06-07T06:55:55.010-05:00That's a good point thanks! Maybe if you could stew over it a bit, you may find you prefer one colour over the other. I also wouldn't go semi-gloss as it will show all the imperfections more, but again, entirely up to you.shannonc60https://www.blogger.com/profile/12411485172616395915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7927995920080917290.post-10450109741483369582017-06-05T19:10:34.698-05:002017-06-05T19:10:34.698-05:00Yeah, I want to see how the semi-gloss works out.Yeah, I want to see how the semi-gloss works out.Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11074992134112478195noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7927995920080917290.post-29571622410424079282017-06-05T19:09:26.774-05:002017-06-05T19:09:26.774-05:00I think what it's going to boil down to is whi...I think what it's going to boil down to is which is more important...the pop, or the detail.iseeceruleanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05832050471210490044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7927995920080917290.post-86739259903750351222017-06-05T14:45:30.549-05:002017-06-05T14:45:30.549-05:00I was wondering about that too! I don't know that I need a larger section, though that is an idea to keep in mind, but I did want to see how much detail I'd lose of the siding with the darker color.

I'm thinking I might go and get both of the colors in sample sizes just to see how they look in a semi-gloss paint.
